Northern Beaches Christian School established the Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning (SCIL) specifically to focus on researching and implementing technology into classroom practice. SCIL also deliver online distance education courses to more than 300 geographically dispersed students internationally and in NSW. With over 35 online courses to choose from Northern Beaches Christian School were in desperate need of video and multimedia rich content to enhance their lessons.

Northern Beaches Christian School implemented ClickView at the beginning of 2007, where immediately the ClickView Digital Video Library brought life to their classrooms and distance education students through the product ClickView Home.

ClickView Home allows teachers and students from Northern Beaches Christian School to view their digital videos from the convenience of their homes. Andrew Clucas (Head of SCIL Online) says "ClickView Home has allowed us to easily incorporate video into our online courses. ClickView Home videos are easy for online students to view as they run through web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. ClickView Home videos integrate seamlessly with Moodle, the learning management system which we use to deliver online courses".

ClickView Home is the chosen solution for video delivery to distance education students at Karabar High School. Students from all around the world can now access video, pictures and audio files without waiting for mailed packages to arrive to complete their school work.

Prior to purchasing ClickView Home Vickie Krikowa (IT Coordinator) had to "manually record educational videos and burn them onto DVD at least 3-4 days a week, which was VERY time consuming."

Both face to face and distance education students had limited to no access, to a variety of video resources relevant to their curriculum area due to the costly price of purchasing videos. With ClickView Home this cost has been greatly reduced."
