Whilst attempting to playback videos in the ClickView Player for Mac OS, you may see an error report similar to the one below or encounter a problem where ClickView Player closes immediately. This is caused by the 'Perian' codec pack existing on the affected system. The information below will detail how to resolve this error.

To resolve this error, click the 'Apple button' then select 'System Preferences'

In the 'System Preferences' pane, navigate to the 'Other' section at the lower part of the pane and click 'Perian'

By default, Perian will have the "Load External Subtitles" option enabled as pictured in the below screenshot

Untick the "Load External Subtitles" option.

The ClickView Player for Mac should now function correctly upon playback of video content.
